Primary Responsibilities & Attitude
 
You will be an integral part of our Vancouver team on a hybrid schedule. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for processing incoming transactions and executing operations requests as well as helping to manage the counter and interactions with external parties as and when needed. As our business is continually evolving, you will play an active role in helping us shape its growth. We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in the industry (but often thinks about ways things can be done better), is known for their work ethic and “can do” attitude, and who considers themselves to be an entrepreneurial team player.
 
In this role, you will build strong relationships across all teams in Canada and will work alongside various individuals to deliver exceptional customer service. You will maintain relationships with financial institutions on a global level. You will take pride in your work paying attention to detail and completing tasks efficiently. But most importantly, you’re eager to be a part of a fast-paced, growing company.
 
You are responsible for:
 
·       Verifying completeness of submitted documents for processing following existing business rules and industry requirements.
·       Reviewing and handling presented documents while adhering to compliance guidelines and service levels.
·       Completing general administrative duties such as scanning, printing certificates, mail distribution, filing, and outgoing deliveries within established productivity and quality standards.
·       Processing simple and complex data entry transactions and, as required, audits of processed transactions while maintaining a focus on efficiency and accuracy
·       Escalating and handling complex inquiries as needed per documented procedures.
·       Maintaining a strong focus on retention and growth by delivering exceptional service.
·       Greeting and managing interactions with shareholders, brokers, and other external parties who present themselves at the Vancouver counter
·       In addition to the duties listed above, management may request the completion of other ad hoc duties or projects 
Skills and Experience
 
·       Courteous, professional, and reliable.
·       High attention to detail and accuracy.
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·       Ability to remain organized while prioritizing multiple tasks with varying levels of urgency.
·       Solutions-based attitude and an eagerness to drive process improvements by identifying problem areas and presenting solutions to management.
·       Sound computer skills and ability to adapt to and apply new technologies.
·       Willingness and desire to achieve personal goals and team goals.
·       Good interpersonal skills.
·       Ability to maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information as part of the job function.
·       Completion of Canadian Securities and similar courses is preferred, but not essential.
·       A working knowledge of the securities industry as it relates to transfer agencies is preferred.

Compensation

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
