Primary Responsibilities & Attitude
 
We are currently seeking a Corporate Services Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in our Toronto office.
 
The Associate, Corporate Services, will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Corporate Services Department. This role will prove very rewarding for someone with high attention to detail and excellent initiative to solve problems while meeting the challenges of tight deadlines.
 
You are responsible for:

  • Responding to and processing SEDAR+ and SEDI filling requests in accordance with guidelines and in a timely manner
  • Preparing whistleblower reports received from complainants
  • Monitoring inbox and liaising with securityholders, clients, and internal teams regarding virtual or in-person Medallion Guarantee requests and appointments
  • Vetting transfer documentation ahead of Medallion appointments and seeking approval from other business units as required
  • Attending Medallion Guarantee appointments (virtual or in-person), witnessing signatures, and affixing Medallion Guarantees
  • Logging and filing all backup documentation related to Medallion Guarantee requests
  • Assisting the Client Services team with processing tasks related to escrows, security issuances, meetings and mailings, and onboarding, as required
  • Accurate tracking and billing of services
  • Maintaining strict adherence to compliance standards
  • Maintaining a strong focus on retention and growth by delivering exceptional service
  • In addition to the duties listed above, management may request the completion of other duties or projects as assigned
 
Skills and Experience:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to remain organized while prioritizing multiple tasks with varying levels of urgency
  • Solutions-based attitude and an eagerness to drive process improvements by identifying problem areas and presenting solutions to management
  • Sound computer skills and ability to adapt to and apply new technologies
  • Willingness and desire to achieve personal and team goals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information as part of the job function.

Compensation

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
