Junior IT Support Analyst – 1 year contract with possibility of extension
 
First 3 months in office full time and then hybrid 2 days a week in office.

Primary Responsibilities & Attitude
 
We’re looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join our growing company, Odyssey Trust! Our ideal candidate is someone who loves IT and wants to work with a great group of people. The candidate will be known for their work ethic and “can do” attitude and considers themselves to be a team player.
The candidate will report to our Managing Director, IT and have the optionality to work hybrid. We pride ourselves on having a team that is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to support each other.
You are responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to end-users across the organization in a timely and positive manner
  • Troubleshoot, install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
  • Manage and prioritize service requests in the ticketing system
  • Escalate more complex issues to higher-level technicians
  • Document and update knowledge base articles and procedures
  • IT inventory tracking
  • Perform scheduled end point updates
  • Website updates
 
Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma in Computer Science and/or Systems
  • 0-2 years’ experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and self-starter
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess the ability to clearly communicate technical problems and generate solutions.
  • Have a professional and positive attitude with a solution-based approach to challenges.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to travel to Toronto office 1-2 days per week
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Compensation

$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
